About us

A Solstizio (Solstice in Italian) occurs twice a year, when the sun reaches its absolute highest or lowest point. They signify how life on Earth changes in connection to the Sun and how our seasons shape our world. Solstice is a time to reflect on personal growth and expand our consciousness into the realm of possibility.

In Solstizio Personal Fitness we want to help you achieve the highest point in your health, ensuring that you build a strong foundation to age gracefully in order to extend your “summer” days.

Our Blueprint Model is a science based training model that is used to create specific and personalized training programs to achieve any goal. We incorporate science proven principles to help you achieve your goals today and build your health for the future. It incorporates exercise programs, nutrition guides, meditation techniques and lifestyle changes that are fail-proof in any situation.

In Solstizio Fitness we believe that Health is a state of physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Not only about your present conditions, but also your future ones. Taking definite steps today to acquire new, healthier habits will ensure that you can live longer and happier.

Personal story

I’m 41 years old, but I have not looked like this all my life. In fact, all the contrary, I was the chubby fat guy all through school and a large part of adulthood. When I was about to turn 30 I realized that I needed to make changes. All my family carries different diseases, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, alzheimer, you name it. The only way to create a better future for myself and my family was to take action, so I did. I lost a quarter of my weight, from 220 pounds to 160 pounds in just a few months. 

From not being able to run more than 5 mins straight, I was running 10k under the Caribbean sun. From eating garbage everyday, I now learnt to choose good foods and balance macronutrients. It was not just another diet, it was a change in mentality, a new me.

Here I am, over 12 years later, with numerous races completed (Marathon, half-marathon, 10k, Obstacle courses and more), with a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Specialist certificate under my belt, part of Spartan Ambassador team, and after helping countless others to improve their health.

Life has its ups and downs and not always gives us a fair hand, but we are all capable of much more than we give credit for. I work hard everyday to buy myself a better life as I grow older, to be able to play with my kids and grandkids, to age gracefully. And I want to help you achieve the same.
